Frequently Asked Questions
The Veterinary Oral Health Council independently tests dental products and awards its Seal only to products that meet strict standards for reducing plaque or tartar. Greenies is one of very few treats to earn this seal.
Greenies are a supplement to brushing, not a replacement. They reduce plaque and tartar significantly but cannot fully replace mechanical brushing. Use them daily alongside regular dental check-ups.
Greenies reformulated in 2006 to be more digestible and safer. The current formula breaks down easily when chewed. Always choose the correct size for your dog and supervise the first few times.
One treat per day for the Regular size (dogs 25-50 lbs). Do not exceed the recommended amount. Account for the 90 calories when calculating daily food portions.
